Download festival just got even bigger! 

Following a mammoth first announcement, unleashing Green Day, Sleep Token and Korn as the headliners; the 2025 edition of the UK’s Largest Rock & Metal festival is truly shaping up to be one for the ages.

Topping the second wave of the announcement are socially conscious Skate-punk legends from Chicago, Illinois – Rise Against! Returning after their monster Main Stage set in 2022, you can be sure to expect classics such as Prayer of the Refugee, Savior and THPS classic Give It All

Also joining us on the weekend at Donington Park are dad-rock icons Shinedown, with their main support slot being sure to give us all a reason to bang our heads on the Saturday. Rounding out the middle day of the festival are Las Vegas’ own Palaye Royale, fresh off the release of their latest album: Death or Glory.

Having reformed in 2022, Welsh pop-rockers Kids in Glass Houses will return to the hallowed grounds for the first time since 2012 to close out the weekend on the Avalanche stage. Finishing off the main announcement are Swedish progressive metal outfit Opeth, who will take to the Opus stage on Friday evening. 

Other acts added to the line-up are: AWOLNATION, Bastardane, Cattle Decapitation, Crossfaith, Dirty Honey, Elliot Minor, Hatebreed, Mothica, Municipal Waste, Myles Kennedy, Neckbreaker, Power Trip, President, Smash Into Pieces, Twin Atlantic, Unpeople and Zetra.
