Bloodstock announce surprise festive event for 2025

Gather ye, gather ye! Headbangers, goths, moshers, geggers, greebos, and everyone in-between; if you thought your calendar was packed with gigs and tours this year…you may just want to add another event into the mix.

Teasing us over a week, Bloodstock Festival started a mysterious countdown leaving fans wondering what the big announcement could be. With a stellar line-up this year, we picked apart the numbers – clearly it was counting down to something; but what!?

After a long summer over-analysing every lyric from Post Human: Nex Gen (IYKYK!) on Discord, curiosity peaked the better of us. Would be subjected to a Linkin Park countdown where the timer reaches zero then begins counting up!?

Luckily after seven days, we were treated to the announcement of a brand-new event: Bloodstock Winter Gathering! For a festival so heavily focused on its guests, it’s not surprising that Bloodstock wants to do more than just exist.

Bloodstock Winter Gathering will debut on 6^th December 2025, raising hell at KK’s Steelmill in Wolverhampton, with main-stage headliners Candlemass celebrating their 40^th anniversary in tandem.

Alongside Candlemass will be the ever-loved, forever hilarious Raised By Owls, King Kraken, Venom Inc, Hellripper, and the thrashcore legends Tortured Demon.

Don’t forget to visit the second stage, and make sure you catch the theatrical devils, Red Method supported by Thuum…but the real treat here is a band ready to amplify the room and electrify with some of the most impressive hair metal-esque performances seen since Mötley Crüe and Whitesnake; Hellbearer.
